For the past 11 years, I have had the privilege of training under the guidance of my guru, Anindita Acharjee. This journey has been a deeply enriching one, allowing me to grow both as an artist and as an individual. Through countless hours of practice, performances, and examinations, I’ve not only developed technical skill but also a profound understanding of my culture and heritage.

Performing at various shows has been an exhilarating experience. It’s given me a platform to share the art form with others, while also challenging myself to continually improve. Each performance has been an opportunity to express my emotions and tell stories through dance, something that words alone sometimes cannot achieve.

Training under such a skilled guru has also instilled in me a sense of discipline and dedication, qualities that extend far beyond the realm of dance. Reflecting on this journey, I realize how much this art form has shaped me, offering a creative outlet where I can connect with my roots and express who I am. It’s been a meaningful way to balance both personal growth and cultural exploration, and I am grateful for the guidance and experiences this path has given me.
